I competed with the Texas A&M Cyber Club; placing in 23rd place.
I played with ret2rev and we placed 38th! Great CTF; I appreciated the theme and the challenges were well designed. I've included writeups for the rev challenges I solved.
I played CSAW finals with idek; we placed 17th overall and 5th in the US.
I competed in CSAW Quals with ret2rev. We ended in 88th place overall and 17th in the qualifying brackets (US Students). I've included writeups for the challenges I solved and thought were interesting enough to write about.
I competed with ret2rev and placed in 98th place! I wrote these all in the last 20 minutes of the ctf and went to go get food so it's a little brief.
I competed with ret2rev, finishing in 7th place. Writeups aren't complete; I started writing and stopped when I got bored lol.
I competed in the teaser solo, ending up in 23rd place (dropped 13 places while sleeping rip). I solved the majority of the pwn challenges (fortran :( ) and have included solve scripts and brief explanations for them. Wasn't really feeling like in-depth writeups, but it should be sufficient to get an idea of the solution and you're welcome to contact me if you have questions.
I competed in picoCTF's 2021 mini-competition with the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Club as ret2rev and we placed in sixth place. I worked on the binary exploitation challenges and solved five of the six total. Fun challenges, glad I competed. Writeups are below.
Tenable (the company who makes Nessus) ran a capture the flag over the weekend of February 19th. I played for a few hours saturday night and pretty much cleared out the code category. I've been a little starved for programming recently so I went straight for it haha. Overall I'd say it was a pretty solid CTF -- I didn't devote the time needed to scope out every challenge but I had a fun time while I was playing.
In November 2020 I put on a small CTF themed around binary exploitation for Texas A&M students and it's now over so sources and writeups are published. Challenge sources are available at tamucybersec/pwn-ctf-2020.
A couple weeks back I competed in HackTheBox's university CTF with a few other students from the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Club. We placed in 37th place out of a few hundred.
In October 2020 picoCTF put on a month long mini competition to celebrate National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. I solved all the challenges and made writeups for them all.
Google CTF was put on by (as you might expect) Google in August 2020. I competed with the Texas A&M Cybersecurity club and have included writeups for the challenges I helped solve below.
SMC3 was a CTF put on by the University of North Georgia and there were 14 students from each of the six senior military colleges competing. I had a good time competing and I ended up placing in 3rd place! I've included my writeups for the majority of challenges which I completed.
AUCTF 2020 was put on Auburn University in April 2020. I've included my writeups for the reversing challenges I did below.
